David S. Shrager President’s Award
An AAJ Board member for over 30 years, Beverly Bove is a force of nature. Her dedication and drive on behalf of AAJ has been awe-inspiring. When you ask her to do something, it gets done, ahead of time and ahead of expectations. Beverly has worked tirelessly on behalf of AAJ, its members and the clients AAJ members represent.
She comes from the smallest state in the U.S. But because of her leadership, Delaware always more than meets any request, whether it's legislative—asking Delaware members to contact their members of Congress—or in contributions to candidates.
Delaware is always the first to contribute and the first to meet their fundraising goals, and that is because of Beverly's inspiring leadership.
She has demonstrated unwavering support for AAJ PAC and all efforts to elect pro-civil justice candidates. She has served multiple terms on the AAJ PAC Board of Trustees, National Finance Council, and PAC Task Force.
Her passion for helping others shines through every time you speak with her.
As a past AAJ Budget Committee and Audit Chair, Tom D’Amore has given so much of himself and his time to AAJ. There are certain committees that require more time and effort. The Budget Committee is one of the most important and time consuming, and Tom has served at an exceptionally high level for many years. He is stepping down from the committee this year and AAJ is deeply appreciative of his knowledge and years of service.

David S. Shrager
Mr. Shrager had many accomplishments in the courtroom, but is best remembered as a caring mentor and friend to other trial lawyers. Throughout his career, he was a member of AAJ and served in many leadership roles, including President of the association from 1983-84. He founded the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, served as president of the Roscoe Pound Institute, and was one of the first lawyers to volunteer for Trial Lawyers Care, the largest and most successful pro bono legal service programs ever undertaken.
