Negligent exposure to coconut at restaurant
January 14, 2025While Sage Bennett, a minor, was dining at True Food Kitchen, she allegedly suffered anaphylaxis, resulting in facial swelling and pain.
Bennett, through a guardian, sued FRC Balance LLC, alleging negligence. The plaintiff claimed that she was exposed to coconut after advising the defendant’s staff that she was allergic to it.
The parties settled the matter.
