Settlement for pipefitter’s asbestosis
January 14, 2025Doe, 79, allegedly was diagnosed as having asbestosis—in addition to coronary artery disease and hypothyroidism—following his career as a pipefitter in the San Francisco Bay area. He sued multiple defendants, alleging that his illnesses resulted from occupational exposures to asbestos-containing products, dust, and debris.
The case settled before jury selection for over $125,000.
