October 16, 2025Doe, a 74-year-old man with preexisting chronic pain, was allegedly rear-ended by an unlicensed driver. He suffered a T12 compression fracture and required physical therapy and other treatment. His medical expenses were $39,000, and he now suffers from posttraumatic symptoms related to the crash.
Claims against the alleged tortfeasor—which were presented using AI-powered tools that showed medical chronologies and damages—resulted in a payment of $30,000 policy limits. Doe’s own insurer paid an additional $195,000 before suit was filed.
