About the Program

Join AAJ’s Minority and LGBT Caucuses for this half-day CLE program in New York City! Through a practical exploration of high-impact trial topics—from case theme development and storytelling to persuasion in voir dire, opening, and beyond—faculty will focus on one unifying skill: cultivating an authentic voice that carries through every phase of the case. Attendees will learn how credibility, consistency, and genuine advocacy strengthen juror trust and sharpen persuasion, regardless of case type. Whether you are refining your trial skills or reconnecting with the core values of plaintiff advocacy, this program delivers actionable insights rooted in AAJ’s tradition of excellence in trial practice.

The CLE kicks off a two-day event which also includes a Membership Drive and Member Happy Hour. Attendees are invited to attend the happy hour immediately following the program and then join Caucus Members for a Membership Drive on Friday, April 10th.

RSVP for the happy hour to memberevents@justice.org.
