New York Law School Registration Policy

Unless NYLS agrees otherwise, an event attendee must be pre-registered, and their information shared by AAJ with NYLS a minimum of 48 hours before the event. Upon arrival at the campus, the attendee must check-in with the AAJ organizers of the event and be issued a credential/nametag for the event. After receiving the credential / nametag, the attendee must present to NYLS Security a government-issued photographic identification that must bear the name that is indicated on the credential/nametag. Professional names, preferred names,  chosen names, etc., may be utilized, however, the attendee must register with their legal name and present identification indicating their legal name.

If advance permission is granted by NYLS to authorize day of event registration, the attendee, after checking in with the organizers of the event, must check-in with NYLS Security who will manually log the attendee into our Visitor Management System. Please note, this process may result in an attendee being denied entry and/or a delayed process to enter the event.

User should instruct attendees who leave the Event to keep their badge or nametag in order to return to the Event. NYLS requires advance notice of public officials or high-profile visitors, especially when accompanied by local, state, federal, or private security.
